Oriental Insurance launches 'New Pravasi Insurance' for Fed's NRI customers

Oriental Insurance in association with Federal Bank has launched a new insurance scheme, Fed Oriental ‘New Pravasi Insurance’, for its new NRI customers. Fed Oriental Pravasi Insurance covers hospitalisation expenses of NRI customers by providing cashless treatment facility at more than 3000 hospitals pan India and also for unforeseen eventualities like repatriation, accidents.

Who all eligible?
All new NRI customers, who maintain a minimum balance of Rs 5,000 or more are eligible for the insurance coverage. Medical floater cover for family is available in the event of death or disability of the insured for Rs 10 lakh.

Extra Benefits
In addition to the patient, economy class airfare for a dependent or bystander would also be provided in case of accident, a press release issued here has said. Overseas treatment in recognised hospitals for an amount up to Rs 75,000 per annum is also offered under the scheme.
