    No. It is not required. But you need to have bought MF from that AMC.

    You need to have folio number, when you buy first time. Later on just mention folio number.

    No, it is not necessary to have a DEMAT account to trade in mutual funds. According to the information available on the website of Bombay Stock Exchange, investors can get the forms for mutual funds from agents and distributors of those funds.
