Default Which is the best super top up policy ? Mediclaim of a larger amount or super top up ? Which is better

    Dear all,
    Greetings
I want to know which is the best super top-up policy. Is floater facility available in super to-up policy?
Is it better to take a mediclaim of a larger amount or it is better to take a super to-up policy.
I have a mediclaim of rupees 1.5 lakhs.
I want to take a super top-up policy for my family.
Myself I am 48, my wife 43, my son is 13, and daughter is 7.
Please suggest a best super top-up policy which will also be of use of in the long run for me. I want a policy which has life long renewal.
Hope to see many responses & many thanks in advance for the same.

    Thanks & best regards,

    Yours Sincerely,

    Dr. Veerendra Darakh

There is no universal product best for all.

Is floater facility available in super to-up policy?
    Yes. Check below two plans:
1- United India's - Super Top up plan
2- L&T Super Top up Plan – Medisure Super Top-up Plan

Is it better to take a mediclaim of a larger amount or it is better to take a super to-up policy.
It depend on various factors - Which Type of Health Insurance plan you have? Age Group? Claims History? etc.

How is APOLLO MUNICH OPTIMA SUPER PLAN.

What are the points that we need to check while taking super top up. Here is the tentative list that I have made.

    * It must have family floater
    * It must have facility for life long renewal.
    * Claim process must be easy.

Please add on to these points.

    Regards,

Is there a TPA in super top up plans also. Can we get a cashless type of card.

Hope to see a lot of comments.

In all the three policies above points are covered. It's your personal decision which plan you wanted to buy. Some go with PSU... some to Pvt.

Yes there is TPAs in Super Top-up plans. You won't get cashless facility.

I sent a mail to United India and L & T by following your links today morning. No response till now . It is arpound 9.00 p.m now. Hope to see a response by tomorrow.

Why not straight away buy a mediclaim of a larger amount. Is there a price advantage in buying a super top up policy.

    Regards,

    Veerendra

Each plan is designed for different purpose > Low Premium is one of the reason.
