How to Calculate Gratuity

Hi, I am working in a private concern for 3 years. Am i eligible for gratuity...What is the actual eligibility? If i am eligible what is the gratuity amount I will get?

You are eligible for gratuity, only if you have completed five years of service. The gratuity calculation depends on the basic pay and the dearness allowance at the time of resignation or retirement.

For each year you have completed, 15 days of salary is calculated.
