"Dear Customer,

As part of our constant endeavour to bring you best investment products, we are pleased to present to you the Public Provident Fund (PPF) Account, making ICICI Bank the first private sector bank to offer this service in India."

Documents required for opening a Public Provident Fund (PPF) account with ICICI Bank?

For customers who have a relationship with ICICI Bank that is < 5 years, the following documents is required:

1. Form A
2. Passport size photograph
3. Copy of PAN card

For customers who have a relationship with ICICI Bank that is > 5 years, the following documents is required

1. Form A
2. Passport size photograph
3. Copy of PAN card
4. Residence proof – Passport/ Electricity Bill/ Mobile Bill

Yes, you can do it online, if you have ICICI Bank account.

Steps
Step 1: Fill in the details required for opening a PPF Account (login to icicibank.com and click PPF Account Online)



Step 2: Take a print out of the pre-printed form, affix your photograph and sign on the form
Step 3: Submit the application form and the nomination form to any one of our branches

The PPF account will be opened only in a designated branch of ICICI Bank authorised by the ministry of finance.Please mention the name of the branch where you wish to open your PPF account on the application form.
