Is my pet covered if we travel abroad?

My pet dog is covered under pet insurance. Is my pet covered if we travel abroad or do I need to buy a separate travel insurance for him?

This is first time I am hearing about pet travel insurance. I don't know if any one available in India now, please check with insurers.

In India the Pet Insurance Policy provide coverage with in India only.
