I donot have any idea about the share markets. I am very keen to invest in the stock market so looking for some details like - what is the minimum amoiunt of investment?, Can we purchase and sell the shares directly via websites?

For basic know how use NSE, BSE and moneycontrol websites. If you don't know use MFs route to invest money in stock market. You need to first open demat account to invest in the stock market.
