There is no limit as per policy terms & condtions. But now a days Pvt. company cancel the policy just after 2-3 claims (If big amount claims). I had a bad experience with TATA-AIG.

There is no such rule but Pvt Players are very conservative so some of them cancel the policy if you make frequent claims.
You will pick up maximum wrong numbers when on roaming.

There is no limit for claims as per my knowledge but as Madhura said some pvt companies do restrict you if you claim more frequently.

As such there is no particularly criteria for giving number of claims allowed per year but some companies make its own private policy by fixing its maximum amount of claim payable by company in a one year.

In my opinion, every car insurance company has the different rules and regulations, so it depends on the company terms and conditions. Generally many companies allow 3 claims over a year.

As far as I know it depends on the insurer, generally they mention it in the terms and conditions while buying insurance.
