ICICI Smart Kid & SBI Shubh Nivesh : Need you input on my investment

I have purchased following two products for my son, keeping in mind the higher education cost -


1- ICICI Smart Kid (premium 60,000, annually for 20 years, started in July 2012)
2- SBI Shubh Nivesh (premium 7,000/ month for 18 years, sum assured around 9 lakhs, started Oct 2012)

Need you input on my investment.

I am not fan of child insurance plans, so big NO to ICICI Smart Kid Plan.
SBI Shubh Nivesh is a endowment plan, which will give you 4-5% return max, so decide your self.

Which ICICI Smart Kid Policy you have invested in?
1- Premier
2- Assure
3- Maxima

Then in which fund you have invested in e.g. Balanced, Blue Chip etc.

Thanks for answering my query. I had invested in Maxima and in Blue Chip fund.

Do you recommending to surrender SBI Shubh Nivesh Plan?
