Car insurance

I have purchased a second car. The Ownership in the RC is changed. The insurance policy is not changed to my name. The car met a accident. Kindly let me know whether I can claim for insurance ? what is procedure for getting the insurance claim.

Legally you have to transfer the car insurance within 15 days (http://www.policywala.com/content.php/273-How-to-transfer-car-insurance-of-Second-Hand-Car). As per act insurer say no to damage to your vehicle loss.

You should transfer insurance policy but i think now you can't claim now.Try to discuss with an solicitor.
